FACE IT!
COOLING CUCUMBER FACIAL MASK
Beauty Fact:

Cucumbers contain Silica, which is an important substance for good health and skin. Silica enhances skin tone and texture. Moreover, cucumbers possess high fluid content, which can help keep the skin hydrated and radiant.

Recipe:

Mix one small cucumber and one cup of oatmeal to make a paste.
For oily skin: combine one teaspoon of yogurt with one teaspoon of the paste.
For dry skin: combine one teaspoon of milk with one teaspoon of the paste

Leave for 30 minutes, then rinse.

EXFOLIATING OATMEAL FACIAL MASK
Beauty Fact:

Your skin adores oatmeal because it contains skin-soothing properties that fight dryness. Oats are also filled with natural cleansers that gently remove dirt and oil from pores. It helps exfoliate dry and dead skin cells to bring out a smoother skin.

Recipe:
Grind 2 tablespoons of old-fashioned oats.
Pour into a small bowl and stir in 2 tablespoons of hot water and ½ tablespoon of honey. Let it stand for 5 minutes.
Wash face with warm water. While skin is still damp, massage paste onto face, circling around eyes and mouth. Leave on for 10 minutes. Then rinse.

HAIR POWER!
HAIR MASK FOR SHINY, BOUNCY LOCKS
Beauty Fact:

Vinegar is slightly acidic in nature. And this property helps restore the scalp’s ph balance, detoxifying it from dirt and shampoo build-up.

Recipe:

After hair is shampooed, pour 1 cup of vinegar through hair. Massage hair and scalp. Then rinse.
Apply usual conditioner; after which, wash with water.

EGG-CITING HAIR CONDITIONER
Beauty Fact:

Raw eggs contain significant concentration of essential proteins and nutrients that help strengthen hair follicles. These nutrients also contribute to hair’s volume, shine and texture.

Recipe:

Beat egg then massage it into hair and scalp. For longer hair, use a brush to sufficiently cover the hair and scalp.
Leave it for 15 minutes.
Rinse the hair using cool or lukewarm water. Avoid the use of hot water.
Proceed to washing of hair with shampoo.

BODY TREATS!
YUMMY CHOCOLATE SCRUB
Beauty Fact:

Chocolate contains anti-oxidant properties that help smoothen out wrinkles. It also helps rejuvenate the skin, leaving it smooth and radiant. 

Recipe:

Mix the following together: 3 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Add oil gradually until mixture looks like a paste. Add water if needed.
Apply this scrub to moist skin after washing.
Use circular motions, massage gently. Then rinse.

SWEET SUGAR SCRUB
Beauty Fact:

Sugar is a good exfoliating agent as it deeply cleans the skin without clogging the pores. Sugar scrubs promote the growth of a healthier; more uniformly colored and textured skin.

Recipe:

Mix 11/2 cup of white sugar with ¼ cup of light vegetable oil.
Rub it all over the body before turning on the water. Then rinse.
