The 70-20-10 rule states that:
-    70% is allocated for living expenses (rent, food, clothing, etc.)
-    20% is allocated for savings (retirement, investment, emergency fund, etc)
-    10% is allocated for debt repayment or fun money or tithes

Passive Income is SWEET

Hola! Pagtsek ko ng aking gmail account, dun ko nakita may Affiliate Income pala ako for the month of March na pumasok.  yehey! more than 3k and not doing anything. O di ba ang sarap ng buhay pag ganito?  hahaahahaha can't seem to stop myself smiling.  Indeed passive income is sweet!  And i really thank Bo Sanchez for making me richer and happier.

This Too Shall Pass

Came across this beautiful reminder from my mentor, Neale.  May i always remember each day that it is SOUL profit i am after, and not my body's profit ;)

The point of your activities throughout the day is not to make a living, but to make a life; not to 'work' but to create joy.  If you are doing what you are doing merely to 'pay the bills,' you will have missed the major reason for All Of Life.

The purpose of life is to know and express Who You Are.  If you do other than that during the days and times of your life, you will have not used those days and times in a way that profits your soul.  It is soul profit we are after here, not body profit.

I’ve endured this
discomfort before and
survived it, and so I can
survive it today. I’ve felt
these feelings before and
sat with them, and so I
can sit with them today.
I’ve felt like giving in
before and held onto hope,
and so I can continue to
hold on today. I made it
through yesterday, and so,
I can also make it through
today. I can do it. I will do
it. I am doing it. I am
strong and I am capable. I
will not give up.

So gusto mong yumaman?  Mag invest na sa stock market. ;)  Click here:

How to Retire a Millionaire

Are You Afraid Of Growing Old Without Money?
Greg is a 63-years old Vice President of a company.
The salt and pepper hair fits him nicely.  Makes him look elegant.  Greg also wears cool clothes that make him look like a rich gentleman.
But his eyes can’t hide the bone-chilling TERROR inside.
Because he knows he will retire at 65.  That’s just two years away.   And he’s scared.  Because on that day, he won’t have a monthly paycheck anymore.
“I’m sure you have savings, right?” I asked Greg.
He looked down, shaking his head.  “Not more than P200,000 in the bank.  I’ve never been very good with savings.  I just spend my money.  And there were many emergencies along the way.  I know I should have saved more.  But I didn’t.”
I asked, “But you’ll get a nice retirement package from your company?”
“To pay my debts,” he sighed.  “I just borrowed to buy a car last year.  And did some house repairs this year.  We also travelled as a family last summer, paid for by another loan.  So whatever I’ll get from my retirement will erase my debt.  But nothing will be left.  Absolutely nothing.”
       I couldn’t help but groan.
Greg was staring at the PERFECT STORM.   A financial calamity that was coming in two years.
“Can you help me, Bo?” Greg asked.
I pitied him so much.  If only he was twenty years younger—it would have been easy!
My Maids Have MORE Investments
Than This Vice President
All my maids are invested in the Stock Market.
My first maid—the first one who started her investment program under my guidance—now has P518,844 in her stock market portfolio.  She’s only 30 years old.  If she keeps investing, she’ll have P15 Million by the time she hits 50.  Note: A maid!  (Last year, I promoted her to bookkeeper, but that’s another fascinating story to tell at another time.)
Almost all my employees (over a hundred of them) are investing in the Stock Market too.  Messengers, janitors, clerks...  I’ve got happy employees because they will all be multimillionaires when they retire.
Even my sons Benedict and Francis, ages 13 and 7, are investors.  For years, Benedict would invest money from his odd jobs.  And Francis would invest Christmas cash gifts from Ninangs and Ninongs. They will be millionaires by age 18 and multimillionaires by age 21.
Let me repeat: Their money is in the Stock Market.
Not in the Bank.
Did you know that the interest you earn in a bank is LESS then 1% a year?  But in the Stock Market, if you follow my simple investment system (NOT trading!), you’ll grow your money from 12% to 20% a yearover time and become a multimillionaire in 20 years.
You Don’t Have To Make The Mistakes Of Greg

Some people think that as you grow older, you’ll have to grow poorer.
Not true.  You don’t have to make the mistakes Greg made.
Thousands of people have already joined my TrulyRichClub. And following my guidance, they have started investing in the Stock Market.  And they’re very happy.
Those who joined me 2 years ago—and who invested in the Stock Market with my guidance—can’t thank me enough for the TOTAL CHANGE that has happened in their financial life.
I repeat: Don’t be like Greg.  You don’t have to be afraid growing old and poor.
Stop postponing!  You’re missing out on these earnings.  Most importantly, you’re missing out on gaining financial freedom.

How to Invest in Stock Market

i stopped buying stock for a few months kasi maraming gastusin at utang na dapat bayaran.

How to Save MONEY

Saving money is important. We all know that.  But knowing is not the same as doing.
For some people, saving money is like going on a healthy diet.  You get inspired and start to do it, but after a few weeks, self-pity creeps in and you begin hating it.

If you usually fail at saving money or you think it’s really difficult to do, then here are some money saving tips that could help you.

1) Save first, then spend the rest.
At the instant you receive your income, immediately set aside a portion and put it in your savings account. After that, you can now spend the rest of your salary without guilt. This is what they call paying yourself first, which is easier and more fun to do than scrimping on your expenses so you’ll have money left as your savings until the next pay day comes. Try it, this really works.

2) Make saving money automatic.
How do you make saving automatic? There are several ways. One is to go to the bank that handles your company payroll account and ask if they have an automatic savings plan or if you can have one arranged. What this means is that whenever pay day comes, the bank will automatically deduct a fixed amount from your salary and deposit it to a separate savings account.

3) Make your savings NOT easily accessible.
When your savings account is just one ATM withdrawal away, then you’re more likely to touch it.  Make it inconvenient for you to get cash out of your savings.  Simply having a pure passbook bank account is a good start.  As for me, I have a BDO Optimum Personal Savings Account which only allows you up to three over-the-counter cash withdrawals a month (but unlimited deposit transactions).

The Filipino Paluwagan System provides a similar inaccessibility to your savings.  In fact, many Pinoys have recently started and joined paluwagans to “force” them to save money in light of the recent global financial crisis.

4) Always use cash.
When you always use cash, you’ll be more aware of your budget.  This will help you avoid accumulating debts and encourage you to live within your means.  Simply put, pay yourself first then always use cash.  Do this and you’ll end up with no credit and a savings account that you don’t have to touch to pay your debts.

5) Set a benchmark and a reward for saving money.
They say that you should save money for the “rainy days”.  Personally, I believe that’s a pessimistic (and vague) reason to encourage yourself into saving.  I find myself more motivated into saving money when I set a reward for myself whenever I reach a certain amount.

For example, I allow myself to guiltlessly splurge P2,000 on anything I want whenever I am able to increase my savings by P10,000.  Other times, I reward myself with a fancy dinner in a restaurant after every three No Spending Days.

Haba ng Hair

I'm a proud Human Heart Nature dealer and I was really looking forward to last Saturday's, Magalogue Turnover of Human Heart Nature but when i came in the afternoon, most of the new products were all sold out ;( what a pity!  Good thing there was a cake and a fresh brewed coffee that helped me wait with patience for the queue was sooo long also.
Anyway, this time i bought the Hair Serum, feminine wash, and a Hair Mask.  I will write about my review on hair mask ;)
It was a weekend and i plan to pamper my hair on a Sunday.  Anyway, while watching Dr. Zhivago i had it on and wrapped on a hot towel for 30minutes.  I just simply love the jasmine scent.  I don't know every time i smell jasmine i think of India.ü

it didn't get the so smooth result that i expected (maybe my hair is kinda really dry ;( ) but smelling the jasmine throughout the 30minute was heavenly enough. ;)  For sure will do it again next weekend.

For the prize and for the scent and for the result i would say it's worth it.  I will give it 4 stars.ü

P.S.

Earn while Sleeping

2 weeks ago i was on the brink of going broke but then i told myself: "more money is coming my way".  true enough just when i was withdrawing my last money from my BDO ATM card and looking at the receipt, i couldn't figure out why Php3,000+ credited to my account.  it kept me wondering overnight where it came from.  So the next morning i checked through internet banking and found out it was deposited in President's Avenue, BF Parañaque branch. hmmm...could it be a mistake by bank teller or someone was just so nice to send me just when i needed it most?anyway, i was just so grateful. ;_)

then the next day, i received this in my mailbox:

wow!!!! Bo Sanchez just gave me my affiliate income.  Isn't it great?!  I grow money while sleeping.ü Literally!  and up to this day i have not regretted signing up to Bo's Truly Rich Club.  Just last month too, I have started with Citiseconline's Stock Market Investment https://www.citiseconline.com/final2/b_home_new/home.asp and so far so good.  Stock market excites me now. ;) Just starting to learn the ins and outs.

Affiliate Income

you might not believe it but last February 8, 2010 I joined Bo Sanchez' Truly Rich Membership Club (http://trulyrichclub.net/) for P2,700.  I was curious how to earn extra and at the same time wanted to know how money works for me.  After e-mailing my deposit slip, a week after i received a personally signed book from him.  Then on the days that followed I would get his daily e-mails with tips on how to grow your money and got very inspired with his e-book "My maid invests in the stock market and why you should too".  Apparently I need to be in Manila to do the same thing or come up with P25,000 first and then apply online so until that happens i'm still in the dreaming mode. ü

Anyway almost every week I would get mail telling me i have this much of affiliate income being a member of the club and didn't think much about it until one day i received this e-mail....
Isn't this amazing?  Out of the blue i received this amount as an affiliate and it came in in a moment that i badly needed extra money!  Goddess is so good in deed. ;)

Then surprise of all surprises, just last July 15th i received this e-mail:
Whoa! i nearly jump and shout for joy.  What i got is even higher compared to my salary. hahahaha.  And so i am motivated to share my story to you folks out there that indeed when you give something away much much more is coming back your way.ü  You can also join Bo's club and truly it will enrich you not just financially but more so spiritually.  Just follow the link i listed above.

claim all the blessings in the world we all deserve to enjoy!
