Ano ka, RICH o WEALTHY?

nawindang do ang beauty pagkabasa ko kara kaina.  aha moment eon man ;)  ag makaron ginadeclare ko:  "wealthy ako bukon it rich." and as i say...so be it. hahahaha cheers to a wealthier tomorrow.

excerpt from Robert Kiyosaki 's wisdom with a few changes to make it localized:

Why being wealthy is different (and better) than being rich
When I was a young boy, my rich dad told me about the difference between the rich and the wealthy.
“Many people think that being rich and being wealthy are the same thing,” said rich dad. “But there is a difference between the two: The rich have lots of money but the wealthy don’t worry about money.”
What rich dad meant was that while the rich might have lots of money, they also might have lots of expenses that keep them up at night. Or they might have a high paying job but have to get up to work everyday and have fear of getting fired or laid off.
The wealthy, on the other hand, don’t have these worries. Why? What’s the difference?
The definition of wealth
The definition of wealth is the number of days you can survive without physically working (or anyone in your household physically working) and still maintain your standard of living.
For example, if your monthly expenses are Php5,000 and you have Php20,000 in savings, your wealth is approximately four months or 120 days.
Wealth is measured in time, not dollars.

The difference between being rich and being wealthy
In 1989, Kim and I became millionaires, but we weren’t financially free until 1994. This is because there’s a difference between being rich and being wealthy. By 1989, our business was making us a lot of money. We were earning more and working less. We had what most people considered financial success.
Though we were rich, we still were not wealthy; much of our time was spent working to build our business and its systems. Our goal was to build the business to the point that it would cover all our expenses from cash flow each month—without us working. Additionally, we were invested in other assets like real estate and commodities to add to our cash flow.
By 1994, the passive income from our business and assets was greater than our expenses. At that point, we were wealthy, not just rich.

It’s not what you make…
Ultimately, it’s not how much money you make that matters but how much money you keep—and how long that money works for you.
Every day, I meet many people who make a lot of money, but all their money goes out of their expense column. Every time they make a little more money, they go shopping. They often buy a bigger house or a new car, which results in long-term debt and more hard work. Nothing is left to go into the asset column. It’s this kind of behavior that separates the rich from the wealthy.
I like the fine things in life just like everyone else; the difference is that I don’t have to work to purchase them, or go into deep debt. Rather, I spent the time necessary to be smart with my money, work hard, and build a business and investments that provide enough cash flow each month to cover my expenses—including my fun liabilities like cars and houses.
I don’t work for my money. It works for me.
Lots of people can become rich. But only financially intelligent people can become wealthy—and that takes a strong financial education that allows you to build cash-flowing businesses and assets.
The rest is just playing at wealth, and a lot of worry.

You see, tie up silang dalawa.  Hindi ka kikita sa stock market kung wala kang advise galing kay Bo kasi nga wala tayong alam pagdating sa kung paano laruin ang stock market. (talking about newbies sa stock market ha).

so kung gusto mong yumaman 10 years from now umpisahan mo ng magsave para sa future mo. ;)

have a great weekend.

Unemployment Rate in the Philippines

Pro-Poor, Pro-Environment at Pro-Philippines talaga.  All healthy and organic ang sangkap ng kanilang mga produkto.  So kung gusto mo ang ganitong negosyo simulan na ngayon.  agad agad 'ika nga. ;) at huwag ibilang sa statistics ang iyong sarili.

Millions of college-level students are graduating or have graduated again at this time of the year. Millions of Filipinos, then, will be added to the labor workforce and, if available jobs are not enough to absorb them, would surely increase the country’s unemployment rate.
As of the latest quarter, the Philippine unemployment rate stands at 7.10%. This translates to more than 2.89 million Filipinos without work.
It surely is high. In fact, the Philippines has the highest jobless rate in Southeast Asia. Our nearest neighbors Thailand, in contrast, only has 0.83% unemployment rate while Singapore registered an unemployment rate of 1.80%.
The silver lining is that ours apparently is still not that critically severe compared to the jobless rates in other countries.
Worse in Africa
Unemployment is worse in the African region, where more than half of the population is left with no work. Djibouti has the highest recorded unemployment rate at 59.5%, followed by Namibia (51.2%) and Congo (50.3%).
Big economies also suffer from relatively high unemployment. The United States recorded unemployment at 7.60% as of March 2013, while the United Kingdom has 7.80% jobless rate.
In contrast, Japan‘s unemployment rate is 4.30% while China‘s jobless rate is steady at 4.10%
Bad in Europe
Europe is still reeling from a crisis that has affected various Eurozone members, with several countries registering double-digit unemployment rates. Greece, one of the hardest-hit by the crisis in Europe, has a 27.20% unemployment rate as of February 2013.
In Spain, one out of four people (26.02%) is unemployed. In Italy, the jobless rate is 11.60% while the unemployment rate

How to Earn Passive Income

Now here's one i found in my facebook timeline today that i can't resist sharing agad-agad ;)  Sa lahat ng naghahanap ng trabaho, may trabaho, o magkakatrabaho. ;)

Henry Hungry is applying for a job.

He walks into this nice office and meets a well-dressed fellow behind the desk. Henry smiles and asks him, "Sir, is there a job for me?"

The Man Says, "I'm actually looking for a general manager. you need to sign a conract for three years. Interested?
"Hmmm. Sorry for being upfront, but how much will I earn?" Henry Hungry asks.

The man says. "I'll let you choose your salary.

OPTION 1: is I pay you P30,000 a month for 36 months.
OPTION 2: is I pay you one centavo on the first month and I double it every month for 36 months."

Henry starts calculating. "Option 2 is interesting. If I choose that, I earn one centavo on the first month, two cents on the second month, four cents on the third month, 8 cents, on the fourth month, 16 cents on the fifth month, 32 cents on the sixth month... after 12 months of working with you, I would have received a total of... sheesh, P23!Sir, I need the money badly. I choose Option 1 where I earn P30,000 flat each month. By the first year, i'd already have earned P360,000. And after three years, that would a total to P1 million. I definitely choose Option 1".

"Okay, if that's what you want." Then the man asks, by the way, if you choose option 2, do you know how much you'll earn by the end of three years?"

"I didn't finishing computing that option. It's too depressing."

The man Calculates in front of Henry hungry. "On the first month, you receive on centavo, on the second month, you receive two centavos..." He goes on and on, and Henry doesn't mind him too much. He's focused on the P1 million he'll be earning in three years. He feels pretty good about himself.

Finally, the man looks up and shows Henry Hungry the calculator. "In 36 months, you would have earned P680 million. You exchanged that for one million. I'm sorry, my friend, I can't take you as my General Manager. Your decision making skills are terrible."

Let me give you the figures...(see picture below/above )

There are only two types of income in this world: Linear(Active) and Exponential (Passive)

Linear Income is like a piece of bread. You eat and its gone. After that, you have to look for another piece of bread.

Exponential income is like a seed. You can't eat it at first, but if you plant it and whait for a while, you can eat as much as you want to.You have an infinite source of fruit if you keep on planting some of the seeds.

Many Filipinos today have only one income stream - their jobs - and jobs are linear income.

What is exponential income?

That's what a regular employee earns when he invests in mutual funds and stocks. (So you see everyone can earn exponential income, even employees).

That's what a NETWORKER earns when he/she builds a downline organization.

That's what a store owner earn when he/she branches out, hires other store managers, or sells franchises of her store.

That's what a distributor earns when he distributes his goods to various stores.

That's what a real state investor earns when she buys profitable rental property.

Exponential income - also called passive income - means earning for a very longtime from work you did only once at the very start.

Hey, income is income. Earn linear income when you can!But invest your linear income so you can earn exponential income.

Because if you want to be wealhty, you need to find a way to earn exponential income.

This Too Shall Pass

Came across this beautiful reminder from my mentor, Neale.  May i always remember each day that it is SOUL profit i am after, and not my body's profit ;)

The point of your activities throughout the day is not to make a living, but to make a life; not to 'work' but to create joy.  If you are doing what you are doing merely to 'pay the bills,' you will have missed the major reason for All Of Life.

The purpose of life is to know and express Who You Are.  If you do other than that during the days and times of your life, you will have not used those days and times in a way that profits your soul.  It is soul profit we are after here, not body profit.

I’ve endured this
discomfort before and
survived it, and so I can
survive it today. I’ve felt
these feelings before and
sat with them, and so I
can sit with them today.
I’ve felt like giving in
before and held onto hope,
and so I can continue to
hold on today. I made it
through yesterday, and so,
I can also make it through
today. I can do it. I will do
it. I am doing it. I am
strong and I am capable. I
will not give up.

How to Retire a Millionaire

Are You Afraid Of Growing Old Without Money?
Greg is a 63-years old Vice President of a company.
The salt and pepper hair fits him nicely.  Makes him look elegant.  Greg also wears cool clothes that make him look like a rich gentleman.
But his eyes can’t hide the bone-chilling TERROR inside.
Because he knows he will retire at 65.  That’s just two years away.   And he’s scared.  Because on that day, he won’t have a monthly paycheck anymore.
“I’m sure you have savings, right?” I asked Greg.
He looked down, shaking his head.  “Not more than P200,000 in the bank.  I’ve never been very good with savings.  I just spend my money.  And there were many emergencies along the way.  I know I should have saved more.  But I didn’t.”
I asked, “But you’ll get a nice retirement package from your company?”
“To pay my debts,” he sighed.  “I just borrowed to buy a car last year.  And did some house repairs this year.  We also travelled as a family last summer, paid for by another loan.  So whatever I’ll get from my retirement will erase my debt.  But nothing will be left.  Absolutely nothing.”
       I couldn’t help but groan.
Greg was staring at the PERFECT STORM.   A financial calamity that was coming in two years.
“Can you help me, Bo?” Greg asked.
I pitied him so much.  If only he was twenty years younger—it would have been easy!
My Maids Have MORE Investments
Than This Vice President
All my maids are invested in the Stock Market.
My first maid—the first one who started her investment program under my guidance—now has P518,844 in her stock market portfolio.  She’s only 30 years old.  If she keeps investing, she’ll have P15 Million by the time she hits 50.  Note: A maid!  (Last year, I promoted her to bookkeeper, but that’s another fascinating story to tell at another time.)
Almost all my employees (over a hundred of them) are investing in the Stock Market too.  Messengers, janitors, clerks...  I’ve got happy employees because they will all be multimillionaires when they retire.
Even my sons Benedict and Francis, ages 13 and 7, are investors.  For years, Benedict would invest money from his odd jobs.  And Francis would invest Christmas cash gifts from Ninangs and Ninongs. They will be millionaires by age 18 and multimillionaires by age 21.
Let me repeat: Their money is in the Stock Market.
Not in the Bank.
Did you know that the interest you earn in a bank is LESS then 1% a year?  But in the Stock Market, if you follow my simple investment system (NOT trading!), you’ll grow your money from 12% to 20% a yearover time and become a multimillionaire in 20 years.
You Don’t Have To Make The Mistakes Of Greg

Some people think that as you grow older, you’ll have to grow poorer.
Not true.  You don’t have to make the mistakes Greg made.
Thousands of people have already joined my TrulyRichClub. And following my guidance, they have started investing in the Stock Market.  And they’re very happy.
Those who joined me 2 years ago—and who invested in the Stock Market with my guidance—can’t thank me enough for the TOTAL CHANGE that has happened in their financial life.
I repeat: Don’t be like Greg.  You don’t have to be afraid growing old and poor.
Stop postponing!  You’re missing out on these earnings.  Most importantly, you’re missing out on gaining financial freedom.

May your dreams come true,

Affiliate Income

you might not believe it but last February 8, 2010 I joined Bo Sanchez' Truly Rich Membership Club (http://trulyrichclub.net/) for P2,700.  I was curious how to earn extra and at the same time wanted to know how money works for me.  After e-mailing my deposit slip, a week after i received a personally signed book from him.  Then on the days that followed I would get his daily e-mails with tips on how to grow your money and got very inspired with his e-book "My maid invests in the stock market and why you should too".  Apparently I need to be in Manila to do the same thing or come up with P25,000 first and then apply online so until that happens i'm still in the dreaming mode. ü

Anyway almost every week I would get mail telling me i have this much of affiliate income being a member of the club and didn't think much about it until one day i received this e-mail....
Isn't this amazing?  Out of the blue i received this amount as an affiliate and it came in in a moment that i badly needed extra money!  Goddess is so good in deed. ;)

Then surprise of all surprises, just last July 15th i received this e-mail:
Whoa! i nearly jump and shout for joy.  What i got is even higher compared to my salary. hahahaha.  And so i am motivated to share my story to you folks out there that indeed when you give something away much much more is coming back your way.ü  You can also join Bo's club and truly it will enrich you not just financially but more so spiritually.  Just follow the link i listed above.

claim all the blessings in the world we all deserve to enjoy!
