Negros Farmers Market

I have heard and known of the Negros Farmers Market every Saturday months back but i can't seem to figure out their exact location so i kept on foregoing it to another Saturday. i am an advocate for anything organic since i started to become aware of my destructive lifestyle and even though it costs a bit more i believe that it will save me more from getting hospitalized in the long run by living out control damage as early.

Although it was drizzling last Saturday and so hard to tear away myself from the book i was reading (The Girl who played with Fire), i decided to move my ass and have brunch there.  Even took a taxi to show us the right way but the driver didn't have a clue.  We were driving so slow not to miss the sign until finally we saw this:

Yey! we didn't get lost hahahaha.  Later did i know we entered through another gate thus missing this main entrance:
and so we didn't pay the P100 entrance (which is by the way consumable) but ended up spending much of that anyway.

Got so excited to go around.  Ang lawak pala nya at divided into different zones.

Nung mapagod na sa pag-ikot siempre pagkain na ang hanap.  The only stall that got my attention for something different is the Japanese corner.  Maybe because i saw the chef is an authentic Japanese. ;))) Almost bought and tasted everything as of di na babalik. hahahaaha
claiming my ramen

Of all that i ate, i like best the korokke (mashed potato with ground pork and seasonings then fried).  Then i ate the sushi which i topped with wasabi and here how i felt while munching it:
picking the sushi
putting it in
feeling the effect of wasabi

cursing the wasabi
I am such a fan of spicier than spicy but this moment, feeling ko nag burst lahat ng brain cells sa utak ko pagregister ng wasabi.  watdapak! talaga na feeling.  i had to buy one more sushi and enjoy the taste.
Ang isang bagay na di ko nagustuhan, paper plates, plastic spoon and fork, plastic cups, etc.  It was just so ironic that i read so many signs around the area to bring your own plastic and bags when you come and that go for organic, be green and all and yet use the same.  bad trip di ba?!

ramen
Paborito ko ang noodles.  Mabubuhay ako kahit ito lang pagkain the whole of my life kaya sa lahat ng pagkain na nakita ko hindi kataka-taka na ramen ang inorder ko.  I told the chef make it super spicy.  When i got it, it was so disappointing.  Nothing extraordinary.  No kick whatsoever and the serving was pitiful.  Sya pa naman pinakamahal na binili ko @ P60.  All the rest ranging from P10-25 kaya matitikman mo talaga lahat ng produkto nila.
how Okonomiyaki is cooked
Okonomiyaki
Busog na ako pero naaliw pa rin akong bumili at i-try ang okomoniyaki na ito but i didn't like it much too.

going around ito ang mga nagustuhan ko:

wheat bread

bonsai for display only

farm fertilizer

they make a juice out of this fruits but i forgot the name ;( juice was too sweet though i didn't like it

landmarks to watch out for near the area
I believe i'll be a regular guest here. ;)  So much more to discover next time and marami ding free taste. hahahaahha aliw much ;)
