na encourage ako nga sabton do mga pangutana ngara nga feeling ko buhay eon nga wa ko hapungkui ag isipon gid it madaeum.  pero naabutan man gihapon maw it pilang domingo ag hara ma try eon man ko nga mag-isip g magsabat. hahahahaha

Questioning the status quo and giving myself permission to change my mind about things allowed me to honor and know myself, authentically. This is an ongoing process for which I am incredibly grateful.

If you need a little illumination about how aligned you are with your true self, try this journaling/list-making exercise:

You are going to write 4 lists. Try not to edit or judge, just allow a flow from your heart through your hand and see what you reveal.

1. I Am...
How do you identify yourself? Include ethnicity, gender, marital status, political affiliation, etc.
i am Pinay. babae. gay. lalaki. i can be that in ways that i know. hahahaha. single ako pero may kasama. ako ay isang anak, ate, tita, kaibigan, kaklase, katrabaho, kadaupangpalad, kalaro, kasama, kausap, kawentuhan, kasoulmate, katsikahan, etc. etc. etc. hahahahha

2. I Love Spending My Spare Time Doing...
hmmmm watching movies, reading books, lie down and be a bum, sleep until my eyes hurt, shopping looking for nice things sa ukay, walking, trekking, food trip, eating out on new places, groceries, check out organic stuff, magduyan habang gatan-aw it pelikula, etc. etc. etc

3. The Qualities I Value Most in My Relationships Are...
aha. unang-una transparency, may space to be me, freedom to be me, sense of humor, masarap kausap, masayang kasama, nasasakyan ang mga trip ko, can do things together and actually enjoy it, cook together, share a meal, discover new things and open to new ideas, naked and i mean naked truth, just comfortable being ourselves no pretensions.

4. The Political Issues That Most Concern Me Are...
hmmmmmm let me think deeply about this. hahahahahaha

Once your lists are complete, you should have more clarity on how you feel and what you value.
This can be used as a guide to see where you might not be living in alignment with your personal truth. Choosing to question the status quo might ruffle some feathers, but not questioning your choices is a choice as well. In the end, you are the only person responsible for how satisfying your life experience turns out to be.
